Michael Drowne Drafted in 28th Round by L.A. Dodgers

without comments

Great news this week! My little cousin, Mikey Drowne, was drafted by the L.A. Dodgers. I haven’t heard for sure if he’s accepted yet, but I hope things work out for him! They wanted him on a plane to Arizona – like – yesterday. UPDATE 9:08 AM: He did sign with them!  He’s going to Glendale, AZ for a few weeks and then he’ll be off to Ogden, UT to hopefully play for the Ogden Raptors!  Check out the view from homeplate at Lindquist Field:

Here are some articles for your reading pleasure, should you choose.

This guy is hiliarous! He spoke at Emerson’s Commencement this year and was awesome! I’ve got to find the time to listen to the whole speech more carefully!

“I asked my friends, ‘What advice did you get on your graduation?’ 87% of them didn’t remember. … Which suggests my presence here is about as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike.”
