Come to find out, there was a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.techflash.com\/microsoft\/Seattle_data_center_fire_knocks_out_Bing_Travel_other_Web_sites_49876777.html\" target=\"_blank\">fire<\/a> at the data center which resulted in water from the sprinklers disabling the power generators and knocking out power to the facilities. In addition to geocaching.com, bing travel [a Microsoft product] was down. Also, the local television channel is housed in the building. They had to begin broadcasting from a sister channel, and their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.techflash.com\/TV_station_forced_to_go_old_school_after_fire_at_Seattles_Fisher_Plaza_49893982.html\" target=\"_blank\">6 o&#8217;clock<\/a> news did happen, however it was a little different.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/media.scenedaily.com\/images\/komoweathermap.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/media.scenedaily.com\/images\/komoweathermap.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"427\" height=\"331\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Long story short&#8230; I woke up this morning to plan my caching run, and came to find the site down.
