I think a big part of that is I actually took the time to figure it all out &#8211; the Reference tracker in Word and easy integration between Excel and PowerPoint.<\/p>\n<p>Information is beginning to be released about the new Office 2010, including the fact it will have a <a href=\"http:\/\/business.theatlantic.com\/2009\/07\/microsoft_to_distribute_free_office_software_in_2010.php\" target=\"_blank\">free online aspect<\/a> as well (move aside Google Docs?).<\/p>\n<p>One cool aspect of the new Excel is sparklines &#8220;which are essentially tiny charts that appear within a single spreadsheet cell, giving you at-a-glance access to trends&#8221;. Seems pretty cool. One bad thing about the charts in Excel have been how they can take over a sheet, so it will be nice to have some graphical information that can be contained to a cell.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-108\" title=\"sparklines\" src=\"http:\/\/kmtom.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/07\/sparklines1.jpg\" alt=\"sparklines\" width=\"719\" height=\"278\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ktomdesign.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/sparklines1.jpg 719w, http:\/\/ktomdesign.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/sparklines1-300x115.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 719px) 100vw, 719px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8212;-<br \/>\nvia @<a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/trokair\" target=\"_blank\">trokair<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Unlike many other people, I love the new Office 2007.
